History
Fabian Energy (K) Ltd. is a private limited company that was registered on July 5, 2022 in the Republic of Kenya under the Company’s Act, 2015. The short-to-medium prospects of FEKL is in three (3) core businesses in the petroleum sector (i.e., licensure for import
storage of LPG; licensure for storage and filling of LPG in cylinders; licensure for retail of LPG in cylinders) and two core businesses in the manufacturing sector (i.e.,
manufacture of stainless steel LPG cylinders and manufacture of pressure vessels).
In the petroleum sector, the company was established to cut into the niche of the use of renewable energy sources at the domestic level, a market which remains largely untouched for the greater population in peri-urban and rural areas of Kenya. Our competitors shy away from these emerging markets for several reasons, ranging from insufficient transport infrastructure to far flung areas and inadequate distribution channels, to political upheavals every 5 years. Fabian Energy (K) Ltd. intends to bridge these gaps by establishing dedicated and strategically located downstream distribution channels with ease of access in purchase of gas through existing mobile money services which have largely penetrated the Kenyan market.
In the manufacturing space, FEKL shall set the pace nationally and regionally as the first company to manufacture affordable and traceable stainless steel LPG cylinders as well as pressure vessels of any size, and shall thereby be the pacesetter in Industrialization of Kilifi County, a county that lags behind significantly on matters industrialization and development. Further, it is our intention to establish a corporate social responsibility program that shall be premised on seven pillars of education, blue economy, infrastructure, technology, industrialization, blue economy, and sports & culture.

The top leadership of Fabian Energy (K) Ltd. has developed and maintains a quality management system that has been premised on the recommendations of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems. The FEKL QMS outlines corporate policies and standard operating procedures for both core and support business processes. These policies and procedures ensure that all FEKL operations are conducted in a systematic, transparent and verifiable manner, thereby ensuring that process outputs (deliverables) are similar from one assignment to another. By applying our QMS we are not only able to meet our business objectives, but we also minimize wastage of resources in terms of material, human resource and time. We believe that this business strategy of ensuring consistency in the delivery of products and services is a key pillar in growing and maintaining the FEKL customer base across all business segments that we are involved in.
Integrity

The top leadership of Fabian Energy (K) Ltd. has developed and purposed to maintain a staff code of conduct as one of the corporate policies under FEKL’s integrated human resource management and information system, which forms one of the four pillars of our QMS. The staff code of conduct outlines requirements and sanctions that all employees shall be bound to in the course of carrying out their duties and responsibilities for the company. The management of FEKL shall continuously organize on-premise trainings and seminars on matters corruption from relevant statutory policy stakeholders in a move aimed at sensitizing staff on the laws related to corruption, negative effects of corruption and what to do to avoid the web of corruption. The top leadership of Fabian Energy (K) Ltd. believes in establishing and fostering a business environment that is free of corruption and/or fraudulent activities.
Professionalism

The top leadership of Fabian Energy (K) Ltd. believes in a work environment that is secure and free of favouritism in terms of tribalism, racism, and/or nepotism. FEKL has purposed to employ qualified and competent staff in all of its business functions. The demographic of staff shall range from entry level, professional, middle-level management and top-level management staff. Work ethics shall be guided by corporate policies and standard operating procedures as enshrined in the FEKL Quality Management Systems. The top leadership of the company believes in establishing and fostering a work-place culture that is premised on meritocracy, where our staff are the drivers of business by setting the bar high in terms of functional mandates, peer-to-peer engagements, and cross-function interactions. The management of FEKL shall spearhead the development and implementation of continuous professional development of staff across all business functions in order to build and maintain the capacity of our staff in their various job functions.
